Reading back my past entries made me realise how much I've changed since 2005. In the past, I used to blog what I see or experience daily. Now, I blog mostly on how I feel abt things going on around me. On the surface, I might seemed to have stopped blogging. But actually, I didnt. Because all of those were private entries. I choose not to disclose my vulnerable side. I realised in 2005, I didnt have so much to think abt.

After entering into the working world, some things have just changed. These things would make a person's perception change too. I'm feeling upset because of knowing sth from the past. It just disturbs me terribly. I know I shouldnt be thinking abt it because what's in the past should be left there and then. But me being me, I just cant help to think abt it. Thinking abt it kills me, but nobody can help me except for myself.

Why must things be so difficult? I am just torturing myself. I must learn how to focus on positive and happy things. Why should I even be dwelling on the past? I am just being stupid. But being so inquisitive, I would definitely still ask even if I wasnt told.

Ppl seldom see me writing such things. But I guess I'm being disturbed to a stage that I must let it out. Though no details are being written, I'm feeling a little relieve just as I'm typing out this entry. I wish I could erase part of my memory. Is there a format button somewhere?

2ml I'm going out with pam. Hope it will help to take things off my mind for a while.

God, pls bring me through this. I dont think I can do it alone.

Work Work Work!!

I've been working late for the past few days..so much so that when I reached home at 12am yest...I was exhausted.

Part of the reason y I'm back so late these few days...its all thanks to Amanda. Initially, I was booked on the job for a mere 1 and a half days. Then on the 2nd day, as I was sitting beside her, Miss Amanda prayed to God....putting her hands clasp together in front of her head, she went, "God, pls put her back in the job 2ml." In less than a couple of minutes, my AIC came in and told me she decided to extend my booking on this job for 1 more day. So Amanda's prayers came true! On a side note, her prayers always come true - at least for me. Whenever I felt I was going to fail a module in school, I will always ask her to pray for me. And, miracles happened! It really seemed like it was impossible to pass, but I did! =))

So, anyway, the current client I'm on is tough. But luckily, my AIC is sooo nice and I'm on the same team as Amanda!! =)) What a coincidence right? Anyway yest I had so much to do. I took so long to figure out how to trace the procedure to get what I wanted, and by the time I figured things out..it was almost dinner time. =(( There was so much work to be done that I imagined finishing at an unearthly hour.

But, God is good to me! =)) My AIC didnt require me to finish the most tedious part, so I went home much earlier than expected. And, Amanda helped me out though she could have left like hours ago! Thanks Babe! =)) Though it was tough figuring things out, but I realised I learnt quite a bit on this job. I guess all these experiences will help me on my next job next week...

Becoz I've been OT-ing, I've been taking cab quite a bit. And, my bank account is about to suffer a drought from it. The peak isnt as bad as what I thought it would be - YET. I hope things will not get worse from here. I'm busy, but I love my job! =)) Just that, I have no life. Haha. Everyday is work work and more work...

This year's CNY is nothing like the past. I didnt feel it was CNY, but jus some normal public holiday. CNY is toooooo short! I cant wait till off peak...!!!! =))))

Peak!

I am assigned for most of the days in peak. =(((( Whereas my friends are not....

Today was good because quite a lot of my friends are in office with me when I came back from stock take! =)) Nv expect to be able to lunch with them during peak. Chances like tt are hard to come by. In January, I think its almost impossible. It certainly feels good to know that your friends are there for u!

I encountered a couple of problems within these 2 days but I'm not afraid because they are there. =))

Though I'm in the most "shiong" group but I know that God is looking over me. So I neednt be afraid of anything that is installed for me. I shld learn how to embrace and accept that things happen for a reason, and every situation that I encounter is a learning opportunity and experience for me.

Because I have nv done stock take before, I was actually quite afraid to do it because I lack experience and hence is afraid that I dont appear to be professional when I'm at the client's. However, what happened these 2 days of stock take made me a very confident person! Today, I handled the stock take ALONE and I am happy that I've done it! Tomorrow is another test for me.

Now I am so confident I can even brief Zhixian on what he can expect on his job tomorrow..lolx...I briefed him so well to the extent when he went to his snr for briefing, his snr said he is quite well prepared...haha! Anyway, wish him luck for 2ml's stock take. His seems relatively more difficult than mine. =x

The night ended quite early with 90% of the guys drunk. Having one of them slurring, another vomitted and the other talking nonsense...lolx...

Though it was a short night, but I definitely had fun! =))

I am so sad that training is over!!! Time to work hard...Cant wait for off peak to come!

I finally have the time to blog!!

I've started work. Though I go home on time everyday but I cant find the time to blog.

So why am I so free today? Coz I am siccckkk!! Boo-hoo... =(((

I had so much fun yest but ended up falling sick today.

Had steamboat with training grp at bugis and went for a drink at a pub at Millenia Walk. We talked, laughed and had fun. The night ended at 11 plus and shared a cab home. Reached home abt 11.30pm and went to sleep immediately. Woke up this morning feeling extremely unwell. Slept till noon and went to see the doctor. I didnt eat anything today because I didnt have appetite. Its amazing how I can go without food but not feel hungry. Considering the fact that I eat a lot when I work...2day my stomach is really acting abnormal. I hope I will be ok by 2ml! =))

Wilson is also extremely busy with work. He OTs everyday till abt 9 plus...so we only meet for lunch and weekends. Thats a huge difference prior to this week. In Jan, when my peak starts, we wun be able to even meet for lunch. Whats worse is tt my peak is till end of Apr! =((( I cant wait for off-peak though. Whahaha. It shld be quite shiok. I dunno if I can survive peak. I'm kinda looking forward, but scared it might be too tough for me to handle.

Hope ppl in my engagement team ar nice and helpful.
Hope that my engagement does not have too much shit for me to clear.
Hope that I can do up quality work with as little review points to clear as possible.
Hope that I still can spend quality time with him.
Hope everything will be good.

Grad trip to USA!!!! - Part 1

Yup, I'm BACKKKKKK.

Well....13 days in USA. As Pam described, it wasnt fantastic nor it was bad. Being there for soooo many days, I still couldnt get what is the big Hoo-Haa of USA was. Ppl used to tell me how nice and good USA is. I still think SINGAPORE IS BETTER! =P Mayb I cannnot get used to the food, mayb I hate to stay in hotels, mayb 13 days being away from home is a tad too long or simply mayb I jus miss someone too much... =x

How to blog on 13 days of goodness? I cant possibly blog on every detail and post up every photo...so I guess I will jus blog the HIGHLIGHTS (Good and bad) of the trip... Here goes:

Taking freaking 17hrs long flight to LAX
Vomiting on the plane because of bloody disgusting flight food
Universal Studios/ Disneyland
Factory Outlets...ShopPppPpiing, ShopPppPpiing, ShopPppPpiing!!!!
Tasting the BEST clam chowder in San Francisco
Eating burgers EVERYDAY...gah!
Hitting my highest score for bowling...yeah!
Renting and driving a Chrysler...WooooHoooo..

1) You thought u like travelling?! Think twice abt it now when its going to take almost a day to reach there...

6 hrs to Japan is not tt bad.....Finally...we arrived at Narita! Since our take off from SG was delayed, we reached Narita later than expected and we almost had to rush to our connecting flight to LAX....

Since I had flu and felt sick on my way to USA, I slept like 90% of the journey. That time, I still didnt have phobia of long flights. However, on the flight back, I couldnt get to sleep like 60% of the time - and tt is bad enough. I started off with reading gossip mags tt I've bought in USA then playing my DS, then listened to my mp3 for less than a min before it died on me. Then tried to sleep. Finally I drifted to sleep....to my horror...I still got 9hrs before the plane would arrive in sunny singapore! Then I went back to playing DS, stoning, thinking and missing him, feeling frustrated....and vomiting on the plane...

Finally, I redeemed myself today! I find I can play better when there is lesser ppl in the bowling alley. Lesser distraction. Oh god, I'm really addicted to bowling. 5 games werent enough. I wish there is a membership kinda thing where I can pay and play as many games as I want..haha! Or, if I am rich enough, I wana build a bowling alley in my house.. =P

Pam bestest guy fren's birthday celebration!

The whole effect of the birthday celebration? Butt pain and leg pain. Seriously, its the first time ever that I felt ache after bowling. QY says its due to the ending bowling positions. Because it like doing squats. Now we have firm butts. =) Out of all of us, of coz QY had the best ending position. Just like a pro. Hahaha...

All set to go!! My final redemption...hahaha

Next stop: SMELLY TOUFU!! YiiipPppPeeEeeeEE!!

Having been to Taipei, I constantly miss the smelly toufu I had there. And, ever so often while chatting on msn with QY in the middle of the night, my cravings for smelly toufu will come. Finally, he brought us to eat smelly toufu! My verdict? Its ok..but Taipei's better!

When we got there..they werent even open...so we stayed in the car a while to wait for them to open...

The long awaited smeeeellyyy toufu! Initially, I couldnt smell anything. But when QY took a quarter..wahh..the smell came. Though smelly...but nice..haha! If it was smellier...it would have been tastier! QY then put back the quarter he took for photo taking purposes..hahaha!

Next dish on the menu is my fav! I dont know wat sauce they used. But its super delicious! I seldom praise chicken wings sold outside, because in my opinion, my honey glazed chicken wings are the best! Hahaha! But this is really gooooddddd!

QY claims that we are cam-whoring and he doesnt want to. So he insisted tt he doesnt wana take photos with us or let us take nice photos of him...does his photo look as if he doesnt want his photo taken? Whahahaha!

We ordered a lot of fried stuff...and ended up feeling like we cant finish the food because everything is too oily. I wonder if QY did finish whatever he "da bao" that day..haha

Next is my fav KTV!

I got the ball rolling by singing first! I'm singing JJ Lin Jun Jie's song..Hee... =)

Actually, Pam and I planned QY's birthday according to what we wana do...rather than what the birthday boy wana do...lolx...Initially he was quite adamant of not wanting to sing KTV but in the end, he relented...and there we are! =) But we still had to force him to sing the whole 4 hrs we were there...

After KTV, we bowled another 3 games before heading for dinner. Being undecided, we took a looonnnnggg time to name a place for dinner. Maybe tts how QY got his gastric. =x In the end, we went to coffee club at Holland V.

I order my usual Slipper Lobster Linguine, Pam ordered Carbonara Penne and QY some Beef Douche...I dunno if I got the spelling right. Though the beef was nice, I doubt QY enjoyed dinner because he looked like his gastric was killing him.

Cant wait for bowling next wed again! Yup we are bowling on a wed -AGAIN. Hahaha! Now that I am bowling so often, I am thinking of getting my personal ball and shoes... =) But for a person who cant bowl well, playing with a personal ball is damn paisey... =x Who cares, I'm still gonna get it!!

2ml is QY's birthday and we are going to celebrate!! The 2 of them were so bored after the exams that they cant wait to go out and have fun! I cant help but feel excited abt 2ml becoz we are going to KTV!! Its been such a long time since I've been to KTV. I cant wait! 2ml will be going bowling again. Hope I can bowl better now.. =x Anyway QY is going to teach me the techniques. Yeah!

Then, we will be going to Geylang to have my favourite smelly toufu! I hope it measures up to my expectations. Then, we'll head to KTV and thereafter have dinner. =) Amanda will be joining us for dinner. Though QY dont really wana go KTV, but he relented after much persuasion. Haha. Though its his birthday but we planned it all for him. =P

P.S.: Pam pls remember to bring cam ok? We are going to take loads of pics. Hee!

Becoz of this celebration, I told my employer that I will start work on thursday instead of 2ml. And, yup...I am going to work for a short 4 days. At least some money is better than none! I need money to buy my trench coat..So it will be shopping this weekend for the coat. I cant believe I am flying to USA real soon..I jus cant wait!

Jus came back from a feast. Ordered claypot frog legs, sambal kangkong, sweet and sour pork and curry fish head. Yum yUm! The food was not bad. The whole meal cost $70 bucks for 4 of us. I feel tt the whole meal was quite cheap. =) Now I am so full, I can hardly move. I thought if we took bus, I could at least exercise a bit. But in the end, we took cab. I was feeling sooo full till I felt the food was going to burst out of my stomach. Despite feeling so full, I still shared a regular cup of Cold Rock ice-cream. That made me feel worse. But the ice-cream was good though. =P Lucky I didnt forgo this meal for TT's fishmeat beehoon, though he claimed it is damn good.

The cause of celebration is becoz its BQ's birthday 2ml and the guys wana go for a drink after dinner. As usual, they aim for the one-for-one beer session at Oglio in Holland V. I was sooo proud tt BQ liked the birthday presents. Becoz I picked the design of the ear phones. He said its like damn cool. Hee! Yay! And, KS bought the cufflinks which spelt BQ ,was quite meaningful too.

2ml I will be going for another feast in Malaysia with Wilson and TJ. Too bad Denise cant come. =((( But the 4 of us will have mahjong session soon after my exams.. =))) Yay! I'm gona buy loads of cuttlefish 2ml. Hahaha. And crabs! YumMy! Cant wait for 2ml. So sad we cant be snapping photos away. Coz my partner not coming!!!

Also, not forgetting the mini BBQ session tt QY is going to organise. More and more yumMmmY food. I cant wait for exam to be over!

I know I shld be studying for my exam next week. But I really cant seem to concentrate on it. Shucks. All I can think of is play play and play! Hahaha! Hopefully I can still do well for exam. =)

Chilli crabs!

Satuarday, I gave a hand in cooking chilli crabs...my favourite dish.. woke up at 8am, despite sleeping at 3am the previous night. However, I was surprisingly energized...mayb I was too excited!! Went marketing early in the morning. It was a good experience. =) I love the morning atmosphere in markets. Its so nice..I hardly get to experience it becoz firstly, I dont go to markets and 2ndly, I dont wake up in the morning..hahahaha

While cooking, I was soooo all over the place..so much so tt it was impossible to take any photos. And, I think I looked super auntie while cooking. So no photos. Hahaha!

Anyway, the final result was tt the crabs were overcooked but somehow still tasty..whahaha! =P I wasnt kidding. I was proud of myself becoz I cooked for the whole family's dinner. But I guess its better to go out and eat crabs. Save all the hassle.

Another day was wasted without studying... =x Well, actually not. I did manage to figure out how to do a simple finance calculation question. Haha. Ok. I am so dead. I need to finish studying 3 chapters tonight. ArgH...hate studying...Another 1 and a half more weeks to exam! Time is passing so fast. I just cant believe it.

On the other hand..I cannot wait for the USA trip!! The more I look at the number of brands available at the factory outlets..the more I cant contain my excited-ness! Its a shopping frenzy!! Too bad the USD keep strengthening. If not, I would definitely go change more money..I am looking forward to the graduation trip, just that I hate the long flight there. Moreover, I am not taking SQ, so I am really dreading the flight there on the lao pok Northwest Airline..or watever it is called. I cant remember.

Just being random, I was browsing through the facebook of one of my friends and looked at her wedding photos. OMG. Her gowns are all soooo gorgeous! There was one I particularly liked. Its BLACK with golden sash and golden crystal like things on the skirt of the gown. PREETTYYYY and certainly unique. I had a sudden urge to get married while looking through the photos. Hahaha. Have the urge, but its not the time. I expect mine to be abt 3-4 years later, though nobody can be sure of anything. But I've always wanted to get married by the age of 26-27.

Am I supposed to cope myself at home jus becoz u feel miserable about the whole thing? Why feel miserable jus becoz I am having fun?

So, I shld quit having fun with friends till you get over me...is that right?

Why do I feel wronged? Because I know I am not heartless. Having fun is not heartless. I am jus being me. That is why I broke up. Becoz with you, its impossible to have fun with my friends..

When I have fun, you are miserable.

To me, that is control and I feel restricted...sounds familiar? I really dont like it..and now that I am single, I am going to enjoy myself to the fullest by having fun.

No more presentations...no more assignments!! Yay! I feel soooo relaxed after thurs night..but somehow I also felt I had nothing to do all of a sudden.. =x

Well, fri morning, woke up super early...like 6 plus in the morning..I coudnt get back to slp after being woken up by the noisy fan..I jus lay in bed, waiting for time to pass...then at 8am, I received good news...Pam is coming to cooking session! Yay.. =) So, I called TT...He REJECTED my call..ok..nvm..I THOUGHT he was on the roads driving his mom to work..But I had to inform him to fetch Pam, so I called again and again. I applaud my persistence. He finally picked up at the 4th call..and he was actually still SLEEPING.. -__- Still say wana reach my house by 8.45am..So anyway told him to fetch Pam before coming..

We went to Ghim Moh for breakfast, which was not as fantastic as TT claims..and went in search for crabs..but couldnt find any. Since Pam needs to leave early, we decided to cook pasta instead and went to Cold Storage to get the ingredients...

BTW, the whole morning, though the sun wasnt glaring, TT kept wearing that pair of sunglass to ACT handsome lor.. *vomits* hahaha... =P

We hurriedly paid and headed to TT's house for cooking!

It was 1pm when we finished everything...we rushed off to send Pam back to change and sent her to tuition...

Thereafter, TT is supposed to fetch me home, when he accidentally fetched me to his workplace instead... *roll eyes* He went to settle his work stuff, leaving me to sit there with his other salesmen colleagues. It certainly felt uncomfortable, esp when they think I am his gf -__-

He said he would take 5 mins, but it took longer. Anyway, it seemed like forever before he finally finished up...

Since he was free, I dragged him to go bowling! My new addict..haha! I like to bowl, but I am lousy at it. But I love playing with TT, coz he is lousier than me! Whahahaha! =P We bowled a totally of 3 games, and won 3 of them...And, I told him, we are certainly going to bowl together again..hee..(though he doesnt want to anymore..)

Before fetching me home, we went to Ghim Moh (his addict) to eat AGAIN...then went home. Since I would be late for my date, he offered to send me to Bugis! Yay..so nice.. =) Nv did I imagine that ECP would be jammed..normally, its ok..I was thinking..sure die...But fortunately, I managed to reached 5 mins earlier than the stipulated meeting time..in the end, my date was late..haha..

Having to wake up soooo early in the morning and getting busy the whole day, by the time I met up with my date, I was damn bloody tired...I seriously felt like sleeping every second..But I still did enjoy my date though... =)

Finally I could sleep early yesterday night....

After 2 weeks, I finally recovered from the terrible combo virus attack....and FINALLY I can eat unhealthy food again! =) It was terrible to control my diet since I am such a glutton! Hahaha...But there is a downside to NOT being sick. Since I can sleep till 1 plus in the afternoon everyday, I have too much sleep, so much so that I cant fall asleep at night. So when I was sick, my medication was the perfect solution to feeling wide awake late at night. Now that I've recovered, I cant rely on the drugs to put me to sleep anymore. I missed sleeping early every night. =x

Finally, I am also left with the LAST assignment! Last presentation! I cant believe how many presentations and assignments we have this sem. Its was terrible. After exams, USA here we come! Muahahahahaha! I jus cant wait to go to the states!

Meanwhile, looking forward to cooking chilli crabs this friday at Thye Thiam's house. Called both Pam and Kaiting to join us. Pam cant make it, while Kaiting only wana come if Thye Thiam can get the car, so he can fetch her to school in the afternoon..hmpf...dont so practical can?! =P Come leh....! Anyway, plan is to go buy crabs at Clementi in the morning and head back to kill and cook them...YumMmYyyy!!

Sidetrack a bit...I dunno y my whole body is aching since sunday. Must be the 4 hours of standing on Saturday. Because we dont have tix to F1, we found a place at Marina Square that enabled us to get a good view of the track as well as the big screen. And, such good and FREE spots are rare, hence, we have to be there early. We were there since 4 plus and stood ALL THE WAY till 8 plus. My feet were killing me, but it was worth it I guess. Along the way, since the spot was jus beside Mandarin Oriental Hotel, we saw 12 Lamborghinis parking at intervals together, forming 2 parallel lines of Lamborgs. I especially liked the Lamborg that was in Pearl White. It was unique. I nv seen that colour on any car before. It was jus too bad that I didnt bring my camera with me. =((

Sigh...its like already 3.15am..and I am not one bit tired. What's worse is that I have to wake up early 2ml! Better try getting to slp now...

Wow..it has been quite long since I've updated...

Michelle has certainly been busy..but busy with all the wrong things..haha..definitely studying is out of the picture...

However, I cant deny that school hasnt taken up much of my time. Though I dont go to lessons often, assignments, projects and presentations has taken up quite some time. And, they are the main source of my stress and worries. It still isnt the end, more is still to come...sighHhhhh....

Lucky, to balance up my life, friends are always there for me...Jus when I need my break.. =)

Recently, I've also been busy monitoring the stock market..becoz I joined the Poems Stock Challenge. Its soooo exciting to earn so much money in a day. Through this, I've learnt more abt the stock market, and have seen for myself how risky it can be. Apart from that, Wilson also taught me a lot on how to play the market well...with his pointers, I made more money. However, the more I am into the game, somehow, I feel stressed. Its probably becoz of the expectations that I had given myself....Well, its jus a game..no point getting stressed over it...haha

Anyway, abt 2 weeks ago, meet up with TJ, Denise and Wilson. The plan was to go to Keppel Marina to chill and then Mahjong at TJ's house throughout the night...

Since TJ and Denise had offsite at Vivo, we planned to meet at 5pm. I had nothing on on friday, so I stayed home and waited for time to pass. Meanwhile, I felt a little sleepy and decided to take a nap. When I was napping, I kept having the nagging feeling that I've slept longer than I should. I turned my head to face the clock, and immediately jumped out of my bed. IT WAS 5PM!

I was like super late. Msg-ed Denise to tell her I will be late. Ended up reaching at 6.45pm. =x OpPpsss...Sorry! Haha. Since we wanted to play mahjong, the only place available was TJ's house. However, he only had the MJ table, but not the tiles. Initially, Wilson is supposed to bring. But last minute, he had to go for interview. So I ended up bringing them. I was pathetic. I was running super late, the weather was pouring like nobody's business and the MJ tiles were sooooo heavy! I had to carry the umbrella in one hand and the super heavy tiles on the other. ArgH.

Upon reaching Vivo, I hurriedly gave the tiles to TJ. So heavy! Then we headed to Old Airport Rd for dinner. YumMY! Ordered a variety of food and shared. Super full! Then, we drove back to Vivo for Keppel Marina! Denise and I started our snapshots, which the guys hated. The aim was to take ugly photos of them. Haha!

After the drinks, we went to TJ's house for MJ! Anyway, its kinda the first time that TJ is playing MJ. So we taught him along the way. Not bad for a beginner. Learned quite fast, but still not good enough to win. Hee. Initially, I was losing. I was left with the big chips and lost almost all the small ones. My luck wasnt good to begin with. Whatever cards I wanted nv came. As I heard from my uncle, if during MJ your luck is no good, then no point making big tais, coz your cards wun come, so I decided to play it small. Just aim for 1-tai and win. Slowly but surely, it worked. I felt my luck was slowly building up. In addition, a trip to the toilet totally boosted my change in luck. After that, I continuously won 5-limit TWICE, 4-tai once and 2-tai once. The feeling was SHIOK! But I had to recoup my losses. Denise and Wilson are good players. Lost sooo much to them in the 1st round. Finally it was my turn! Yay!

Ended up Denise was the big winner, TJ the big loser, I was 2nd and Wilson broke-even. After our game, it was already 6plus in the morning. Headed to Serene Centre for MacDonalds' breakfast! TJ's treat again, coz he lost MJ. Was so hungry! Nice TJ sent me home coz I was carrying the tiles. =) So nice of him...

Was damn tired...when home to get beauty's rest....

Then yesterday, was assignment deadline day. In the morning, I got a shock when my macbook suddenly switched off while I was listening to music....

My first thought was, "DIE!! My assignment!! How how how how how!!!!" Was thinking of rushing down to epi centre and ask them to help retrieve my data. I kept trying the "ON" button, but it wouldnt work. After feeling shock for a good 5 mins, I finally came to my senses and thought, "I think my lappy no batt leh...". Immediately, I jumped to my table and plucked in the cable. Switched on the mac. YES!! It worked!! I really scare the shit out of myself. I am damn blur....haha

Anyway, went to school to hand in the assignment and headed down for wii-ing session. Meet BQ, KS and GWS for dinner and proceeded on to the few hours of fun. We challenged each other on the games and loser had to drink. Haha. 1st was 100m race. Since I was the weakest contender, I thought I would be last. Luckily I was second!!! No need to drink...haha. Proceeded on to Bowling, I was 1st...and they were shocked at my score. I hit a record high of 225 eventually... =P We then proceeded to our favourite, Rayman 1 and 2. It was damn fun playing these games with 4 ppl. Exciting! In the end, all of them had to drink, except me. I drank orange juice only...haha..

We all slept at 2 plus. I knew I was going to die becoz I had to wake up early the next morning...as I would be meeting Wilson, TJ and Denise for cycling. Eventually woke up at 10 plus, went for breakfast and got ready to set off at like 12.25pm, when I was supposed to meet them at 12.30pm. I panicked. Becoz TJ says the person who is late must pay for lunch and cycling. So, decided to cab down. Cab fare cost me $17.00 for a mere 20 min ride. ArgHH..so ex. In the end, TJ and Denise arrived the latest!! They came together at 1pm...TJ unfair lor..go fetch Denise...

After meeting up, went to Upper East Coast Rd for my fav prawn mee and nghoi hiong...Had a filling lunch and headed for our cycling. Wilson seriously cycles as slow as he eats. He claims he hasnt been on a bike since 8 to 10 yrs ago and have forgotten how to ride. For goodness sake, cycling is a skill, how to do ever forget? Anyway he cycled at a tortoise pace and eventually, we didnt even manage to reach one out of two ends of ECP. Lousy coverage today..Normally with Amanda they all, we can cover quite a distance..

Anyway we stopped at Bedok Jetty for some photos. Thats when Denise realised that she forgot to bring her charged battery for her cam. So we could at most manage abt 10 shots from her camera, and the rest is history! So much for cam-whoring today. Haha...The guys are sure happy that her camera died on her...so no more ugly photos of them...Well, but they are wrrrooonnnggg!!

After cycling, went for dinner at Carls' Jr at Big Splash together with Lincoln and headed down to Chijmes after that. Why Chijmes? Becoz the 2 soccer fans wanted to catch the big match today. Unfortunately, Chijmes was packed with soccer fans and we could not find seats to settle down. The only place is the balcony where ppl can stand and watch. They stood there getting ready for the match. So me and Denise found our little spot on the ground some 2 metres away. However, Wilson didnt want us to jus sit around jus becoz he wants to watch his match. So out of frustration, decided to skip the match altogether. Thats like so sweet. But anyway Denise and I really didnt mind jus sitting there. It would be like ultimate gossip time!

In the end, we headed to Raffles Hotel to eat some desserts at Seah St Deli. Dessert was ok. Not really fantastic. Most probable due to the super filing dinner we had. Abt 9 plus, TJ had to leave for his friend's Bachelor's Party. So we all left and headed home. Now I am damn freaking tired. Off to bed...Pictures uploading soon..

Red Cliff...and more

After being persuaded, I finally went to watch Red Cliff last week. Well, it isnt as bad as I thought. Or rather, I thought it was not bad. So, Thye and I watched the earliest movie slot at 10.45am. Since he had sch, I went earlier to get the tix. Actually soon after I bought the tix, he said he would be up in 5 mins. But I waited like for god knows how long before he really appeared before me. His reason for taking so long? SMOKING downstairs..aRgh..yeeewww...

I regretted wearing shorts there because it was so darn cold in the morning. Lucky thing thye brought his jacket. From FOX. Material is sooo comfy. I spent the whole 3 hrs being wrapped around like a cocoon with his jacket. Good thing was that the show was worth watching..or else they sure kena bird..haha

After the show, we went for lunch. At first, I wanted to eat bee hoon. But he say mayb pasta mania is better. After getting seated, he decided that pasta mania doesnt suit him afterall...so we headed to crystal jade. Ordered tim sum, noodles and roast duck. YummMMYY! The best thing, it was his treat! So nice. Thanks!

Fri was sian coz got school. I must say that the local lecturer is a bit 变态. He restricts his students to go orchard. Mad. Then talk so much abt himself, which is way out of the pt. Waste my time. What made my day was the meet up after lesson at Olio Cafe. At first I was told to go Wala. The sudden change of plans made me curious. What happened to the bunch of alcohol-loving ppl? When I arrived, I then realised it was 1-for-1 for Hoegarden beer. It was like..NO WONDER.

I dont really like beer, coz they dont taste nice. After being forced to drink Tiger beer 2 yrs back, really made me have a phobia drinking beer. But anyhow, I still tried Hoegarden. To my surprise, it was light and smooth. Partly because it was from the draft. Hung out till 11 plus 12, then headed for home.

Sat was half a day of sch, and the rest of the day Wii-ing. Was fun!

Looking forward to 2ml..It has been a long time....I guess it will be fun...Cant wait for fri too.. =)

Had a long day out 2day. Left house at 12 plus and headed for sch to hand in my assignment. Then rushed down to PS. Ate lunch, then decided to go Cathay for a show. We were lucky to get tix for the 5pm slot which was selling fast. And all thanks to my UOB card, the tix cost $8. If not, its was actually $10. I didnt know that cathay tix were that expensive!

Watched Money No Enough 2. This show made me laughed till I had to bend down to hold my stomach. Laugh till my stomach so pain. Damn funny. But at the last part, it also made me tear. After the show, we met up with BQ and KS for some pool. Today I totally sucked at pool. Argh. Against BQ, I can have the whole table of balls still left uncleared. Super inaccurate today (Not that I am normally damn pro at pool, but today really CMI). Damn.

Around 10pm, we ended the game and headed to Tanjong Katong for the Opening Ceremony of BQ's friend wine pub. Cabbing to there was expensive. Surcharge was like $3.30 can?! Stupid lor. So ex. But I cannot complain so much la, coz I didnt pay a cent. =P Anyway, hung out wine tasting and at the same time playing UNO. Okie, I know wine and UNO doesnt go, but who cares. I dont know how to appreciate wine. Wine to me is like so sour and bitter. Argh. Every sip of red wine I took was accompanied by a mouthful of ice water. I enoyed the UNO game more than the wine, though thats not the point of going to a wine pub. Haha.

Ordered honey wings. But I think mine better. =x As it was nearing to 12am, hurriedly left the place to take cab to avoid the midnight charge. Cab fare was like $13. I guess it was still quite reasonable. I was like kinda tired and wanted to rest in the cab, but the taxi uncle dont let me! He keep telling me about S'pore government and LKY. Argh. Let me rest can?! Then I was like, "hmmm...ya lor". Then, "Hee hee" to entertain him all the way till I finally reached home.

TIRED! Going to bed now!

Yesterday, I spent the whole day slacking watching My Girl. Reached home about 10 plus wanting to watch 麻辣天后宫. Before I reached home, Wilson asked me to check if my Starhub cable was working, because appearantly, he cant connect to the internet nor use the house phone. Hence, while watching 麻辣天后宫 (Really exciting! They were discussing about ghost encounters!), I checked the internet connection. True enough, I couldnt surf the net nor go on msn. However, after 10 mins, I was informed that everything was back to normal. =)

This episode was like so nice, I was practically glued to the TV. The only time I felt bored was when the commercials came along. So, since the com was on, might as well check my email. Once my inbox was opened, I thought I was seeing things. I felt exhilarated! An email from Deloitte! When I looked at the subject, it said, "Offer of appointment". It didnt say, "Thanks for your resume or whatever that sounded like a rejection". It was a confirmation straight away! I couldnt contain my happiness. =) The moment I saw the email, I totally forgot about the show. Hence, I missed the rest of it. Damn.

I had my reasons for feeling so happy. Because I sent out my resume quite long ago, but there wasnt any reply. Everyday, I was hoping to see some unknown number calling me, at least there's a hope that its Deloitte inviting me for an interview. Come to think of it actually, 1 day, I did receive a call from an unknown number. But it was from Prudential, asking me to join them as a Financial Adviser. No way man. I cant do sales for nuts. Another reason why I felt so happy when I received the email was because prior to receiving the email, I was completely convinced that my chance was gone. Because those that sent out their resume the same time as me was called up for an interview, but I received none.

Since my first year in Uni, I had planned how I wanted to steer my career path. First, start out as auditor for 3 years, then work in a bank and etc. As when I was in my first year, graduation still seemed far away, so I didnt worry whether I would get into one of the Big 4. However, as graduation grew nearer, I started to panic. I imagined what would I do if I didnt get into the Big 4. I knew I felt lost as I didnt have any contingency plan. I started looking at jobs from JobsDB but I was interested in none. I started to think, if I really cant get into audit, I would have to try and get into a bank. But I know getting into a bank without prior relevant experience is difficult. Just as I was feeling lost, I saw light and hope. I really thank God for looking out for me.

Just as I have always believed, in terms of my career, I have been blessed by God. At every stage, He will know what I want and thankfully, I managed to get it. I really cant thank Him enough. I'm really grateful and happy!

So I'll be starting work real soon after my graduation! 9th Dec is the official start of my career. I cant imagine how tired and busy I would be as an auditor. Guess I will have no life for 3 years odd.

Oh ya, another exciting thing thats gona happen after graduation is of coz the NOT-TO-BE-MISSED graduation trip!! We are really going to THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! I seriously cant wait! Though its only the 5 of us going, but it will still be fun! We'll be touring the west coast of America. Which means, we will cover Las Vegas, San Francisco and LA. So there would be shopping as well as sight-seeing, not forgetting great food! Qiyang and I are definitely going to try the Alaskan King crab from Joe's crab shack, as highly recommended by the agent. The pictures of the food really looks damn good! American breakfast everyday! =)

SERIOUSLY CANT WAIT TO GRADUATE! This sem totally sucks and its a complete waste of my time. =P

Wii!

Despite having to present today, I went to play Wii! Yesterday, after feeling frustrated preparing my presentation slides, I went to sleep in preparation for today's events.

The plan was to meet at around 11.30am, then go for lunch then Wii till 5 plus and head for school. So, after lunch we headed str for our Wii-ing session. Travelling time was cut short as BQ drove today.

At first, I was quite shy to play, coz loads of action was needed to play the Olympic Games. But being the gamer that I am, I couldnt resist Wii. Of coz my performance couldnt measure up to the rest, but was a good attempt. =) For the few hours, the bunch of us only played Mario vs Sonic at the Olympics. We played from 100m race to table tennis, unlocking many other sports events.

Though I still cant win the stupid computer, but my fav sport is table tennis! I played the sport again, and again and again! But still cant win! Guess I need more practice! =P The whole time, I concentrated on training my table tennis skills, whereas the guys were competing to beat the World Record for the 100m race. All in all, it was damn fun, but damn tiring! Sure a good way to tone up the underarm fats. Haha! Till now, my hands still feel weak. Cant lift the fork. Cant lift the toothbrush. Cant do much! Must play cooking mama for next session.. =)

So, anyway, had dinner and headed to school. BQ dropped us halfway, and we took bus for the rest of the journey. Was late for presentation! But lucky it wasnt my turn yet. Due to the lack of practice, I totally sucked at presentation today. Fumbled like hell and I didnt know what I was presenting. The lecturer looked blank, like," what the hell is she talking abt?!" I was so damn gan chiong that my heart beat soooo fast. I thought my presentation went by like a bullet train, but Amanda said that I wasnt that fast. As compared to the other people who presented, I felt like mine was the worse! I thought I was going to fail.....

Luckily, at the end of the class, the lecturer said that nobody failed. *Phew* Thank God! I will do a thorough preparation for the next presentation..

Supper was good. Went to Dempsy with Amanda and Pam for Ben and Jerry's! We had Brownie and Ice Cream. Nice! Except that we didnt really like Chunky Banana. Too Banana-ish. Chatted quite a bit. Had been a long while since we hung out, with my frequent absences in school. Anyway, now still feeling hungry. Shld have went to Crystal Jade instead jus now. Hee. Next time round!

Miss those times

Now that I am back in school, it makes me realise really how much I hate to study. Well, I've been feeling damn slack, dont feel like going to sch etc. Moreover, the reality of the number of projects and presentation that must be completed this sem is drowning me. How I wish I can live in my disillusioned world for one more second.

Work as compared to now seems like comparing heaven and hell. But I'm not sure that still stands if I am going to work permanently after graduation. Everyone says that I will bound to miss school after I grad. Yup, maybe for the part where I have flexible time and days when I have no school to slack. But definitely not the amount of work that is piled on me right now. Feeling damn sian. Why cant we just have exams? Or have easier assignments which no need us to present. Why must life be made so difficult..as if very fun. Better still if the sem has no exams, assignments or presentations. Haha.

Feeling damn frustrated now la. My only consolation is friends.

Miss slacking at work, miss all the gossips. Miss everything.

Actually now is not too bad. *My Secret* Except for sch work. Haha.
